Welcome to the November 18, 2020 edition of Art Starts

NH COVID Community Support Funds
The Governor has authorized the allocation of $500,000 in state’s CARES ACT Coronavirus Relief Funds to support the COVID-19 specific needs of communities of color and other historically marginalized communities in New Hampshire.  The NH Community Support Program is administered by the Governor’s COVID-19 Equity Response Team. All proposed uses of the funds must be to support costs incurred providing COVID-19 services between the dates of March 1, 2020 and December 30, 2020.

Literary Submit-A-Thon for NH Teens
Join hosts, Taylore Aussiker, English teacher at White Mountains Regional High School, and Alexandria Peary, New Hampshire State Poet Laureate, along with other students from across New Hampshire at this fun event! Find the encouragement you need to take your next steps toward becoming a published writer. RSVP by November 30 for this December 2 Zoom Event.

Registration for 2020-21 Poetry Out Loud is Open
This is the 16th year of New Hampshire's Poetry Out Loud competition; last year over 7,500 NH students and a total of 10,000 people in NH participated! Any high school — public, private, or parochial, as well as home school groups — are welcomed to participate. There is no charge to compete and materials are provided. Register here.

Proactive through the Pandemic: Guiding your Nonprofit during Crises
